Paulaner, Beer, Munich

Your result for The Classic Leading Man Test...

Cary Grant

You scored 24% Tough, 10% Roguish, 29% Friendly, and 38% Charming!

You are the epitome of charm and style, the smooth operator who steals the show with your sophisticated wit, quiet confidence and flirty sense of humor. You are able to catch any woman you want just by flashing that disarming smile, even if you're flashing it at a kindly aunt or engaging child at the time. When you walk into a room, women are instantly intrigued and even the men are impressed, but you're too nice a guy to steal anyone else's girl...unless the guy deserves it. You're stylish, yes, but you can also be a little bit nutty. However, you're primarily seen as dashing, suave and romantic. Your co-stars include Katharine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, and Grace Kelly, stylish women with a sense of fun.

17th-Aug-2008 05:02 pm - Back from our OH, NY & ON Vacation
Paulaner, Beer, Munich
T & I got back from our vacation last night.

Aug 8-10:  We had a wonderful time starting with [info]0v0   & [info]2nd_breakfast  's wedding.  Beautiful ceremony on the lake.  Such a great idea that one.
Aug 10:  We stopped in Otto, NY where my GG-Grandfather settled when he emigrated to the US.  The museum of the town was open only in July and August, only on Sunday's and only from 2 to 4.  Thankfully we got there around 2:30.  :)  Totally inadvertent, but awesome.
Aug 10-11:  Next we went to Niagara Falls on the Canada side as well as Niagara-on-the-Lake for a drive through Ice Wine Country.
Aug 11-13:  Toronto was on the list next where we stayed downtown and saw the major sites.  We also has amazing Sushi at Fune.  I'd highly recommend Fune for anyone in Toronto.
Aug 13-15:  After two days in Toronto, we headed to Sacket's Harbor, NY for some time spent with T's mom and brother (and family).  It was a nice time.  Her brother rented a pontoon boat and we went out onto the Lake Ontario.  We ended up stopping at one of the islands and hopping off into the 18 inch-deep water and swimming about away into the deeper parts too.  That made me want our own island.  :)
Aug 15-16:  We next drove down the finger lakes, specifically Seneca Lake and made our way to Corning.  After our glass blowing class earlier int he summer, this was a great stop because we went to the Corning Museum of Glass.  We saw everything from modern glass art to the invention of Pyrex to fiber optics.  That was cool.
On Aug 16 we drove from Corning home, with a stop at Selin's Grove Brewery in PA near Bucknell.  A friend from work recommended it and the beer was great!

All-in-all, round trip ended up at 1443 miles with over 31 MPG.

5th-May-2008 08:52 am - Paulaner Party Keg
Paulaner, Beer, Munich
I love my Paulaner. Now they have a party keg. I am not sure where it is actually brewed...

Paulaner Party Keg

As a background, I started drinking beer from the original Paulaner Brewery in Munich. This makes me happy.
25th-Feb-2008 10:06 am - Because I am excited for Baseball!
Paulaner, Beer, Munich
This concept is important and something not to be over looked.

The Nationals Park aces flush test

It also reminds me of the movie Rock & Roll High School Forever because they make the building almost explode in the beginning by flushing all the toilets at once...
25th-Feb-2008 08:48 am - Fenty running
Paulaner, Beer, Munich
Fenty must have been out late this morning because on the drive to work, we saw him running (Blagden & 17th).  Damn is he fast.
